Women in Electronics is a non-profit regional organization founded to provide a professional network for women involved in all segments of the electronics industry. Our membership includes business owners and women working in areas such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Human Resources, and Administrative, just to name a few.
Our meetings provide a forum for the exchange of information. Different topics are explored, offering members a broad spectrum of programs that cover technical and non-technical issues. New products and approaches are presented to keep everyone abreast of the constant changes in the electronics field.
As part of our commitment to encourage and support women in our field, we have an established scholarship fund to provide educational assistance to bright, promising females. These scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement, and participation in extracurricular activities. Funding for this program is provided by the proceeds of annual fundraisers and corporate sponsorships. To date, WIE has donated over over $323,000 in scholarships and charitable contributions.
Please join us at a meeting, we are sure you will find it a fun, learning experience.
